MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE Wanted
Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join our production team in Anderson SC.
In this role, you will set up production equipment, prepare raw materials for production and verify we have the correct amount of materials and time to complete the production run successfully. Applicant must pass a pre-employment drug test. Manufacturing or warehouse experience and forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Manufacturing Associate Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and re-calibrate production equipment associated w/formula mixing of raw silicone to manufacture final product
- Prepare materials for production
- Able to use dual ovens
- Use of power drill, air compressor, table saw and hand tools
- Keep track of supply inventory
- Assist with packaging and labeling finished products
- Ensure consistent product quality; perform visual inspections and identify potential quality concerns
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked work station
Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Associate degree (preferred)
- Manufacturing experience (strongly preferred)
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Physical stamina; ability to climb ladder and use upper body
- Attention to detail
- Stand for periods of time as required
- Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs
- Consistent attendance; ability to get to work on time every day
- Good w/math; ability to read tape measure, digital scale, pressure gauge, micrometer; proficient with percentages and unit conversions
- Valid driver’s license
